But the thing is, many of the features that iPhone X comes with are already there in Android phone quite sometimes ago apart from the AR feature. So the question is are Apple copying the android features ? Are they taken the roll of follower instead of leader? Following are some reason where they are following android

1. Super retina display/OLED display
This time apple introduced Super retina display which is actually an OLED display -something that has been found on Android flagships (and even mid-range smartphones) for quite some time now. The screen technology is prized for deep blacks, vivid colours and some energy savings compared to LCD panels. In fact in phone world Samsung introduced OLED display (also called AMOLED) in 2010. As of 2017, the Galaxy S8, Note 8, Google Pixel and even many mid- range phone comes with AMOLED displays.
2. Larger and Higher resolution screen
Iphone x comes with 5.8-inch screen size and offers 2436 x 1125 pixels resolution for the first time . Most Android flagships also offer much higher resolution displays. Quad HD displays have now become a trend in the Android world. Even the Sony Xperia XZ Premium even comes with a 4K panel.
3. Slim bezels and edge-to-edge screen
Iphone x now feature gorgeous bezel-less edge-to-edge display. In this, Apple is fully on trend.
Xiaomi, Samsung and LG are some of the first phone makers ,introduced bezel-less technology. In terms of percentage, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 offers a better screen to body ratio than iPhone X. in terms of percentage, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 offers a better screen to body ratio than iPhone X
4. Wireless charging
Wireless charging , a feautre which is now older for Samsung flagship phone finally introduced with iphone x. Apple follows Samsung, Nokia/Lumia phones , And the LG-made Google Nexus 5 again. Apple’s uptake of wireless charging will put some real momentum behind the technology, which could energize the two standards bodies to help wireless charging achieve its full potential.
5. Face ID
the smartphone comes with Face ID that recognizes the face to unlock. According to the company, the Face ID is faster and more secure than the Touch ID. Microsoft beat everyone to unlocking the phone with some part of your face when it launched Windows Hello on the Lumia 950 and 950 XL. Samsung also came with face unlock and iris scanner earlier. So nothing revolutionary.

There is no doubt that the iPhone X will be a superb and best iPhone ever made. But Apple is no more the leader at the smartphone market. . Android flagships like the Galaxy Note 8 offer most of what the iPhone X offers and then some more at a lower cost
