One Plus 5 is coming this summer : expectation, rumours


OnePlus next flagship phone the OnePlus 5 , is coming this summer. According to a report by The Verge, the Chinese smartphone vendor confirmed its next flagship smartphone will arrive this summer but no specific date was revealed.The new phone is a successor to the OnePlus 3 and 3T from last year. With OnePlus 5, the company has skipped number ‘4’ in its smartphone series, as it is considered unlucky in china.

OnePlus 5 is expected to be the best from almost all aspect .We already have some idea about OnePlus’ upcoming smartphone. As per a leaked screenshot from Chinese micro blogging website Weibo, the 128GB storage variant of the OnePlus 5 smartphone will pack massive 8GB of RAM and will run Android 7.1.2 Nougat out-of-the-box. As per  rumours, the OnePlus 5 is expected to come with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 SoC.  It is expected to feature a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with either Full HD or QHD resolution. in terms of camera, earlier rumours suggested a 23-megapixel rear camera but recent rumours have suggested that the rear dual-camera setup on the OnePlus 5 will feature a pair of 12-megapixel sensors (standard RGB + monochrome). We have no idea about pricing but it may be 449$ .


OnePlus has made a name for itself with  high-end specs and a lot more affordable when compared with rivals such as Samsung, Apple, LG. The OnePlus 3T was one of the best budget smartphones of 2016, and if the OnePlus 5 continues this trend, it should be an exciting device for smartphone buyers.

  1. you cannot one plus to provide everything for the price at which they sell their phones. the one thing that no one can take away from the company is their originality and yet you want them to follow suit like everybody else. while I understand the need for dual cameras in the emerging market, I really don’t want to see a phone similar to Samsung or lg. let them do what they do best i.e create phones the way they want to and we all are surely gonna fall in love with it.
